Anyone remember this 1976 flick? I do. Long story short - a studio has been trying to get a remake done of this movie. The flop of superman returns (yes it was a flop) caused production to end. No money = no movie. Also the producer/director - James Camron - took a look at the script and immediately declined the 'opportunity' to make it happen.

Anyway the project has been resurrected and a good friend of mine has been contracted to re-write the script. James Camron still wants to produce the remake as he is a part owner of the copywrite leverge for the movie title. Look for this one to be out in 4 or 5 years.

Now people will finally get my jokes again about palms blinking...
